Our Final Weeks

Two weeks before we flew home, we took a three day trip to Cape Town.  However, a week before we left South Africa, our camera was stolen with all of our pictures of Cape Town and many other pictures with missionaries and friends.  We were very sad to lose those pictures but were grateful our credit cards and passports were not stolen.  We borrowed these pictures from the Wonnacotts who had visited Cape Town the year before.  This is table mountain - one of the most famous landmarks of Cape Town

Cape Town is all about the ocean.  It is spectacular.  We drove to the Cape of Good Hope and just sat and watched the ocean for hours.  (wish we had the pictures:(

We saw the penguins in Cape Town.  They were funny and cute

So after packing and cleaning out flat, we took last minute photos with our office buddies - Elder Davies and Elder Bodily the AP's

Do we look happy - we certainly were.  We had worked hard, had given our whole heart and soul to the work, felt we left things as done as they possibly could be, saw everything we wanted to see in South Africa, made many great friends, had no regrets. We loved being missionaries representing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in South Africa but we were done, tired, and ready to see London and then go home.
